What's at the KMRC?

Actors need more than a place to meet and rehearse. Web pages, fax and e-mail capability are no longer a luxury and access to technology is a necessity. The KMRC alleviates the stress and burden on today's actor and is a springboard to support careers across Chicagoland with:

•  Free access to technology

•  A place to fine tune skills

•  Community and Networking

Since its inception in June of 2001, The KMRC has logged over 10,000 visits by local union actors taking advantage of everything it has to offer.

•  Digital Audio Editing Suite

•  Digital Video Recording and Editing Suite

•  Computers

•  Scanner

•  Printer

•  Fax machine

•  Phone

•  High speed DSL internet access

•  Copier

•  Practice on-camera or microphone work

•  Extensive Script Library (over 800!)

•  Ongoing training sessions for all technology available
•  Scene Rehearsal Space

•  Meeting Space

This is YOUR center and equipment, and it is waiting to be used! Don’t be intimidated by the high quality and complexity of these machines. Training is available and it’s easier than you think!
